Casserres is a village of the region of Berguedà, in the center of Catalonia, located at 650 metres over the sea level. It has around 1,500 inhabitants, including the people of the two industrial colonies of the municipality: Guixaró and Ametlla de Casserres. You will find Cal Torres in the very center of the village, at 15 Escodines Street (in Ajuntament Square, where the town hall is located).

The house, located in the old center of Casserres, has been totally reformed by the current proprietaries in 2008. Thanks to the facade restoration, now the original stone can be easily seen. Moreover, it has allowed the improvement of the main entry with a stone vault and the reconstruction of the eaves with a Catalan jutty. The inside has been divided into comfortable and nice apartments.
